……..and now I see the brighter light because I first saw my own dark spots!”

**********************************************************************

The friends pulled and strained and stained and mulled

Up and up and up and barely one more dust mote trulled

Then stumbling over blots and mots and lots of dark spots

They bumped ‘gainst that bush back, that Shrub Woman’s clots.

“Tootle-roo!  Tootle-ray! I trump and plump the air with bush nose!”

“Scootle here, scootle here, all ye who wouldst come to blows!”

“So bright a light through my twigs I find!”

“So bright a light— ’cause dark spots scraped and left behind.

Wonderful, Rose, and through our trials, if we can only stay focused on that “bright light!” 🙂

This is one of my favorites so far, Rose! There is a great deal of wisdom here. You pack a punch with just a couple verses. You made quite a shiner. I wonderfully appreciate the wallop of light through the twigs you have painted here.

We know that Jack’s big black shiny blob of a nose actually reflects much light of love into our path’s, don’t we, dear Christine? He is such an inspiration! So pleased you picked up on those particular lines about being able to see more light with the dark scales scraped away! Kiss Jack’s nose for me, okay?
