3-Mar-12: Mark 8:27-30

27 Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi; and on the way he asked his disciples,

“Who do people say that I am?” 28 And they answered him, “John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; and still others, one of the prophets.”

29 He asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Messiah.” 30 And he sternly ordered them not to tell anyone about him.

“…..and you did say not to talk?”

All splayed and stretched upon the sands and rocks of that peak

Our friends did lie in stuporous amaze at the messages of the wings and light

All tumbled out of used-to-bes and could-have-beens confusing these meek.

All friends knew their Maker breathed on the wings and through the light so bright.

“Just one more note, one more whisper, oh dear friends,” sang Ugly Bird with Crow.

“Just one last piercing of your hearts at rest, “whispered Bluesdy-Whoosy Dragonfly.

“Take care to pass this word of Him, this sight of Him, to not a single bug or beau.”

“Take care to feed your joy in silence, in waiting, in ponder of Him with holy sigh.”

“Take care to pass this word of Him, this sight of Him, to not a single bug or beau.”

“Take care to feed your joy in silence, in waiting, in ponder of Him with holy sigh.”

Another wonderfully written “leg” of this journey, Rose, and silence is very difficult, at times, isn’t it? I can “feel” the plea in your lines above…
Blessings to you on this Saturday~

Blessings on you, dearest Lauren, as well! Yes, it is so very, very difficult to keep silence about wonderful new enlightenment and gifts of grace, especially! I am most likely to get into trouble for blurting out my enthusiasms in the wrong place at the wrong time! Thank you for your excellent feedback!

“Take care to feed your joy in silence, in waiting, in ponder of Him with holy sigh.”

I can only imagine how hard it was for the Apostles to adhere to His request!
I wrote mine late one night — rereading the passage here, and rereading my post — I am not completely sure of the inspirational direction … but it feels like it was suppose to be there! (??? 😀 ) Only God knows! 😀

Your characters continue to provide us inspiration. Thank you!

Feeding my joy in silence is the very hardest thing I am ever called upon to do as a Christian, eof737! So pleased you found that line especially meaningful to you!

Imagine the patience required to keep this precious secret! It is very well expressed in this piece. It is easy to feel the animals’ anticipation.

Bless you, Sarah, for your very helpful feedback. Yes, we can all identify with how difficult it is to keep a wonderful secret!

Oh, writinggomer–and just when I was feeling so very “out of it” at Christian Blessings! I suppose I am not confronted on a daily basis with the terrible sorrows and temptations that many in the Far East and the Pacific Island nations must deal with. I tend to journey in my faith in a more quiet, gentle, meditative manner than many of you other guest authors at ptl2010.com! Anyway, I very much appreciate your support and encouragement. “Pondering Him with holy sigh” is just so important, I have found in my own lifetime in the flesh!

My dear Rose, you of all people are never “out of it” Your insights are sometimes as good as the article was. I think we all look forward to your comments because they are born of the wisdom God has granted you! Comment on…..:)

Love the last line in this one. This piece is more subtle, without the bumpety rumpety characters. Takes all kinds to keep the world spinning though.

So glad you had an easier ride here, without bumping and clumping, Tots! The critters are resting a little while here and meditating on what they have learned and how they have become much more connected to each other on this journey. So the action is naturally less of a distraction, which is as it should be, right?

I know that Jesus said prayer in groups can be more effective than in solitude. You have created your own internet congregation here, Rose, and I guess, this Peter is onwe of your faithful followers.

…and get I get an AMEN up in heah?!!! You are turning me into a gospel tent preacher, that you are, with these comments today, Peter! What I dream of doing is getting a wordlwide prayer meeting going that connects not thousands, not millions, but BILLIONS in love and understanding for peace and goodwill!
