5-Mar-12: Hebrews 1:8-12

8 But of the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,

and the righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.

“….and you say you see golden crowns over there?”

Now all friends did mumble and bumble in near dreams

Now all critterly folks did stretch and roll to find their rest

Now the feet and hands did touch for sleep in streams

Of gasping and thanking for all toil past and rest now best

When now a brief flash of a wing did sweep o’er all

When now a brief spark of light did peep o’er all

“Oh, what can this mean, this glory all ’round?”

“Oh, can that be a golden crown marked for all so upward bound?”

Ah golden crowns – crowns of light! I’m just getting caught up with a few of your latest in this series and enjoying them all. (You are so prolific!) And I’m always looking for the light – that light that dances and sings so effortlessly from your pen!

Bless you, dear Becca, for your continuing encouragement on this Lenten Journey. We are joint heirs with Christ, therefore royalty with a crown marked with our very own name! I did enjoy imagining that our critters were blessed with a peak at theirs ahead of time!

I believe my fur-child Tippy (who is in end-stage liver disease and hospice care) is peaking at hers from time to time during the day in her dreams ~~ what glory there is when Divine Love is present … and what calm for me! Thank you for your cheerful, encouraging, and inspirational comments ~~ you are the best of “cheerleaders”! Many blessings sweet granbee!!! 😀

And to think–I never made the cheerleading squad in junior high or high school–too leggy and geeky! That is why I can be such a good writer about critterly folk, you see! So pleased this has graced you during your time of your dear Tippy’s final days on this side of the river, as RumpyDog would say! Glimpsing those crowns awaiting us is a state of Grace beyond description!

Could it be that the crow who has been their look out and their protector just spread his wings at the precise moment that God smiled on them all, the light of the blessed engulfing them. As ever the old blacky, dracky crow protected them from being blinded. I am so taken with this tale. xxxx

WOOOOEEE, Peter! All over the world? Oh, you will make me far too full of myself here! And then I would roll down this next steep slope we must negotiate and knock that donkey and that old dog right into the brambles! I am glowing through the power of inspiration from such as you, dear wonderful Peter!

Yes, writinggomer, golden arches marking the True Pathway! So neat you thought of “golden arches” when reading this post! That had not occurred to me, maybe because I am trying during Lent to be such a good girl and stay away from fast good!

Sue, welcome to the club about being “late”: lately, I have been getting TOO many requests for my posts, writing, teaching, etc.! Love you dropping by WHENEVER: you know that! I can always hear your drum beating, anyway! It’s a “spirit” thing, of course! We do have many honors and glories and multitudes of lights awaiting us, as you say!
