16-Mar-12: Ephesians 1:7-14

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace

8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and insight

9 he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ,

10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

“……..and you say we are now BROTHERS and SISTERS, no matter our fur or skin?”

“So now we go on?  Now we climb up again to all those many lights?”

So did all friends, all critters, all folksey-wolkseys quire of Old Crow.

“Oh, thou creeping crawlers and stompy marchers, first take some bites.”

So did Old Crow with Ugly Bird squawk down at friends below.

“Yes, help your brothers, help your sisters, gather and snip berried seeds.”

“What, what mean ye, Old Cawkers?  We all furry-skurry so different, ye know!”

“What, what mean ye, High Squawkers?  We not kin, we not kin in creeds!”

“Yes, yes, oh tawky-mawky ones!  Ye be all kin by sign of Babe, washing of light-bow!”

Yes, Sister Sue, we MUST continue to climb, to move ever upward, to travel through the cleansing springs bubbling up all around, if we only look under the sharp rocks and brambles!

Rose! Our skin is is malleable. It grows, grows old, wilts and dies while the souls they try to hold are eternal. You bridge the two beautifully.

Thank you for such a high compliment, that I “bridge the two beautifully”, between what is temporal and what is eternal! A lot is going on here of which I am just the instrument of fingers on the keyboard, a LOT of the time, you realize!

Oh, Terri–this lesson of us all being “kin” is driving me, driving me so very hard all the time in this fairytale/allegorical journey series, of which your Lenten Journey series is a very important part here!

…like their furry tailed bucky, always protecting, preserving, promoting,

change ways… change path… change heart… for the King!

…with love of brethren the forest is ringing.

🙂 Praise the Lord for your gift, Granbee. As much as I love to read it, I sure can’t write it. What an excellent message here! Thanks, good friend.
