19-Mar-12: Hebrews 3:1-6
3 Therefore, brothers and sisters, holy partners in a heavenly calling, consider that Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, 2 was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses also “was faithful in all God’s house.” 3 Yet Jesus is worthy of more glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. 4 (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.) 5 Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken later. 6 Christ, however, was faithful over God’s house as a son, and we are his house if we hold firm the confidence and the pride that belong to hope.
“……and did you say WE are the Light’s house?”
“So merrily, terrily, ferrily we skip along, trip along, hop along,”
all friends hummed and buzzed and rumbled and tumbled on their way.
“So left behind, so kind, in mind o’ Ol’ MosesMan partin’ that water with tong.”
“Yet Crow says we scuttering after One so much more in charge, oh Hi, oh Hey!”
Soon cawed Old Crow, with chirping from Ugly Bird: “Settle ye, steady ye, hoppy ones.”
“Calm ye, troll ye for long day ahead! Still ye, bill ye not this Ol’Bird for telling ye true!”
“What mean ye, calm us lighted ones, us blessed ones, us questing merry ones?”
“Why, I calm ye, steady ye, for ye must near the day when ye be His house so true-blue!”

Willowdot, when I intentionally use made-up language that temporarily confuses, it serves the purpose of reflecting the confusion we all get into about spiritual matters when we get too hasty and excited, you know? Anyway, just thrilled to have you flitting around up there with Old Crow, keeping him from losing too many tail feathers! (ha!)

Thanks so much for your enthusiastic affirmation of how my post carried this Lenten messge!
Mar 21, 2012 @ 01:25:25
We certainly are the Light’s house!! Rose, I would be honoured if you would write a couple of lines of your bonkers, beautiful poetry in my World Peace Poem on my blog – for World Poetry Day (21st March, assigned by the United Nations). I’m inviting as many poets as want to bring their intention of peace to join across the world with their poetry and light. It just wouldn’t be the same without your unique, wondrous words!!! http://angelajanegraceblog.com

Wow, Angela, I would be so very honored! I will cross post my Lenten Journey post for today, with a verse added, for your complied World Peace Poem! That should appear on your site around 4:30-4:45 CDT today, okay?
Mar 21, 2012 @ 01:39:46
Thank you Rose! I’m not really sure what that means, but I can’t wait to see it 🙂
Mar 21, 2012 @ 01:42:35
Angela, sorry to be hasty and vague! What it means is that in addition to the usual two verses of my Lenten Journey post here at this site, I will add another verse just for your World Peace Poem, okay?
Mar 21, 2012 @ 01:49:15
Don’t apologise! That’s great, thank you so much – would you post it in to the comments section under the post on my blog (that’s where all the lines are going). According to Divine Timing, you will slot it in to the greater poem at just the right time 🙂 (Oh, by the way, somehow WordPress deleted a load of my followers, so you may not have been receiving my posts if you are one of these. No idea how it happened!) Thank you so much!
Mar 21, 2012 @ 01:52:53
Angela, I WAS receiving email notification of your posts–and am still working frantically to get caught up on all my blog following this week, after meeting a Friday a.m. deadline last week for a sample manuscript submission, along with illustration concepts! I needed the weekend to mostly refuel myself, you know? I will do as you say and post in a comment block, okay?
Mar 21, 2012 @ 01:58:34
Oh that’s good. WordPress wiped about 30 people off! I just didn’t want to lose any of my friends :-)There’s no pressure to read! Bless you, I hope you continue to look after yourself. There’s no rush, and I can’t wait to read your post, and of course hear about your project/book when the time’s right 🙂
Mar 21, 2012 @ 02:03:42
Thanks so much for understanding-taking alunch break right now–will be back soon, okay?

Now all I can think about is BEING the lighthouse! Offering warmth to travellers, warning of dangers, marking the way…
Mar 22, 2012 @ 03:56:30
Dear Terri, you have certainly been a lighthouse in my blogging life with this Lenten Journey! I feel your warmth and step around the rocks because of the light you shine! Bless you!
Mar 22, 2012 @ 10:35:37
I feel content from Old Crow and Ugly Bird’s message in this poem, Rose…thank you for the continued spiritual encouragement! xx
Mar 23, 2012 @ 02:33:17
Lauren, I can just imagine you in a state of contentment, listening to these caws and chirps! So pleased!
Mar 23, 2012 @ 08:48:27
Soon cawed Old Crow, with chirping from Ugly Bird: “Settle ye, steady ye, hoppy ones.”
Settle ye…be still and know I’m the Lord
Steady ye…draw strength from me
Hoppy ones…all those who follow Me
Just what came to mind after reading this!
Blessings to you dear Rose!

Greg, you have won this ol’ writer’s MUSE completely over by saying that we are all Hoppy ones as His followers! Just LOVE it! Exactly the way I feel! You are such a totally awesome supporter, Greg!
