“……such bright clean hugs for sleep dancing!”

“……such bright clean hugs for sleep dancing!”

So now did all friends stretch and breathe in space

Of High Room so wide and clean and glinting all to shine

All in blending stripes as Cuddles patted Donkey brow in trace

Of missing mommy now flowing twixt the two like twine.

“Ah, shush, shush, “did yawn out Ugly Bird in lullaby time.

“Spy ye now Mr. Jitters tipping and toeing in waltz so slow!”

Croaked Crow: “Now ye learns secret of King’s dance so sublime.

“What began as shepherding jitter re-forms for  worship so!”

“Now ye learns secret of King’s dance so sublime.
“What began as shepherding jitter re-forms for worship so!”…love this…the king’s dance..instead of for the king, with the king in worship…

Well, Claudia, I admit I was inspired by the Psalms where King David danced before the Lord in worship. So pleased you specifically enjoyed those lines in this post. Liturgical dance has always been one of my favorite parts of traditional Judaic worship forms.

Awww…Rose, I love how you incorporated Jitters and Cuddles into this “dance.” I didn’t expect to see Cuddles, so it was a nice surprise. Thank you for including her! Usually after reading your poems, I feel a sense of contentment and peace, followed by a “sigh.” xo

Awesome Rose, I love this! Very creative with the “dance” 🙂

Jitters and Cuddles danced round the fire
    Spirits so high in praise
Dance and sing, praises to the Most High
Sing you critters, sing you others
Praise the One with loud voice
Hold nothing back, give your all
Raise your paws, your hands and wings
Praise Him now, praise Him always
Jitters critters and Cuddles, praising the One
The Only One, Join in now, join in!

Granbee, this made me think of how we mostly think of worshipping for the King but I like to worship with Him, as the heavens open and rejoice. Each and every second and day a dance should be danced because a soul is saved, and the kingdom of Heaven expands it’s glory!
It does not matter the clothing the critters wear or how slow or fast they go but that they all sing the one song of praise and go wherever the savior goes.. Praises to a God who loves us all.

“What began as shepherding jitter re-forms for worship so!” – No matter how lost we are but if we just keep our eyes to Christ. No matter our fears, through worship we are delivered because we trust Him. Amen

Hey, Peter, I may be old but I am not dead! Joi de vivre! King David, “a man after God’s own heart”, danced in countless worship services and left us the incredible gift of the Psalms!
