The Week in Pictures: May 31 – June 7

The Week in Pictures: May 31 – June 7.

Dear friends, I just wanted you to especially notice all the news photos showing human conditions in the areas where our critterly friends are journeying!  Also, please note the tiny black spot that is one of our sister planets, Venus, as it transited the Sun on June 5, 2012!  Then join me in meditating upon the “bigger picture” you feel our critters are seeking in view of all of this!

Thank you and bless you all, always,

As the Chinese proverb reminds us “a picture is worth a thousand words” and these speak volumes. What a world what a universe what sadness and what joy is ours.

Life seriously is no joke. In one picture a band is playing and in the other search parties are looking for survivors. Only God is unchangeable…nothing is permanent. Thanks Granbee!

So very pleased with your insightful commentary here, Margaret! You certainly do understand the extremes of happiness and horror which seem to occur right next to each other at times!

“Texting consequences,” this issue got me thinking since the time a saw a segment in the news where people, while texting, were falling down the stairs, crushing into walls and people, running over pedestrians, etc. Texting has become a dengerous activity, with sad consequences in some cases. Be careful, everyone! Don’t text and drive; don’t text and walk, especially when crossing a street; don’t text and….

So pleased to see such helpful results of your thinking about these photos, Jennifer! Most timely cautionary comments you give us about not texting while doing other thinks, especially in public situations.
