“……and now we go separate ways for separate duties!”

“……and now we go separate ways for separate duties!”

So, friends needing healing, friends needing feedings–

And friends needing new set of directions to the next bright spot

Did now divide themselves quite by nature into three leadings:

One group to nurse Spottedy, one to find food, one to find new map dot.

So scouting group formed by blend of Flop-Eared Boy and Donkey to hear

Both to lead in listening for water, for sounds of sizzling light to guide their parade,

For sounds of new friends in aide, for those working to bring grains to bear

These friends more strongly on their way, for sounds of forces forbade.

So quick food foraging group was already behind Old Crookeye, Old Dog;

To see better, to reach out with scoping and sniffing nearby ready eats

Bringing Mistress Mouse up from the rear to twitch out crumbs from clog

Bringing Littley Lamb to nose out tender shootlings from byways as treats.

So tender ministering toes and Bushy Palms and blinking and twinking

Did Croaker and Terrapin, Cuddles and Jiggles, Old Stump Woman and Fuzzy Worm

Bring to seep healing and love into Old Spottedy’ heart and soul, once sinking

Sung to blissful rest by Ugly Bird and overflown with cooling by Old Crow o’er the berm.

So very pleased, Cat! Yes, YOU would certainly “get it” about us all being separate parts, with separate functions, of the same Body!

Cat, I agree–I truly feel this is my best segment of the critterly journey I have posted here. I am taking a lot more time and meditation and research these days before publishing each post. Also, by publishing only one or two a week, I am finding I am giving more followers and visitors an opportunity to join in this journey with us. Blessings on you always, dear Cat!

            i couldn’t be happier for you πŸ™‚
it’s how the reader reads it – through your words – and interprets the message you are writing – that’s what makes this one very very special ….
love and blessings to you always xoxoxoxo

Yes, dear Cat, in order for us all to connect around the world for Peace and Goodwill through The Light, we must have plenty of “wiggle” room with our own personal responses which connect us to each other. Bless you for seeing this so very clearly!

Sometimes, I think we feel that we must post every day. I have more visitors the more I post, but my posts are better when I post more infrequently – maybe 2-3 times a week. I think I have one good post in me a week and one great post in me once a quarter. This is wonderful, Rose. I agree — your best yet. But, originally, I had too look up “TERRAPIN.” =)

Tut, tut, Jennifer–you have not spent enough time in the Deep South and not enough time with terrapins! (tee, hee!) I really do think most of us have about one really good post per week–and then maybe one more ALMOST as good! I love all of yours, however! So pleased to have you with us again here commenting again today! Glad you see this as my best post on this journey to date!

I think I shall read this tomorrow morning, from my iPad, down in the woods, sitting on my favorite tree trunk (of a fallen tree). It’s a lovely little pondering spot where I talk to the critters and birds. I think they shall love your words… and I shall ponder them again! I can never read your work just once. What a beautiful message you bring to all of us… bringing us all together for the good of all.

Lost as I am , your writing always brings me comfort. Old Crow has really taken me under his wing ,as have Bluesey Fly and Ugly Bird luckily for me all the unfolks and critterly people have reached out and touched me. They have all enriched my life as have you my dear granbee. Everything happens for a reason we do not always understand why things happen and we may not always understand but there is reason to everything. Thank you granbee I am grateful xx

I’ve sent them to the email address on your gravatar page. I am happy to send you the book to read, but apparently, you did not get it. Can you give me your email here so we can make sure it’s the right one? As far as the other note on dark forces I sent you..I know you know this granbee…;-) I was trying to tell you up front that their are a few violent parts in the book..and I wanted you to know up front before you read it in case that bothers you. That is why I said what I said there above..I wasn’t meaning to com across to question your knowledge..I can tell you’re a very knowledgeable woman of God. πŸ™‚

On a different note, I see you conversation about hot and dry there…it is the same here…the grass is all yellow everywhere, the trees are losing their leaves, and it looks like Fall.

Jeannie, the various parts of the Body do serve each their own purpose and must coordinate with each other and aid each other for the overall Good! Wonderful that you agree on this!

We are hot and dry here right now, but had rain last week! I have been telling friends here that you guys in the UK are practically swamped out! We have been very concerned about all the reported flooding there during the lead-up to the Summer Olympics in London! So very pleased we are singing out of the same book during this critterly journey we are actually traveling upon on earth today. Prayers always for more and more light, more and more peace and goodwill!

Going separate ways? Ohhhhh, I don’t like separateness. But I’ll adapt. Can never separate good friends, no matter how far.

      Jul 26, 2012 @ 03:50:02

No, the friends are not truly separated, Tots. They are temporarily just going about their individual tasks for which they are uniquely gifts and which will strengthen the whole group in a short while.

What a wonderful reminder … we each have a part in God’s plan … each of us are pieces to the puzzle … the Grand Master knows where we all belong, we only need to do our part as He has planned!! No one else can do it for us, or us for them … Awesome, granbee, awesome!!

Once more catching up, Rose, and just wanted to say again how much I enjoy this critterly journey in all its allegorical and lyrical language and form, and of course it’s spiritual meaning. Every day I find the animal / natural world such a source of guidance and hope–and joy!, and love how you put this into words with such heart, and a little fun in all seriousness! Blessings, Diane

Rose! I love how in the last post Terrapin had to stop his mind to listen to his heart. Great! And, yes, all is a process to be learned, from love, to forgiveness, yet it’s all within us to teach ourselves, we just need to follow the light to the classroom of our souls!
