“…….and we kicked up a New Way with our dance!”
All rested Old Stump Woman hooked arms with Mr. Jitters,
dancing little healing girl all through thornies and rockies
kicking up a dust storm of ditties and skippies in flitters
of wondrous flopping ears and bopping crooks going all cockies.
Now all this storm of joy screeched right up to the edge
Finding a broken vine leading to a muffling mound of sobs
“What be this, all this cryin’ sighin’?” said Ol’ Woman to hedge.
“Why, I be left by mom and dad, bees me, “sniffed Cuddles in blobs.
“Why, look by her, look by her, ye Stumpy,” called down Old Crow.
“Look there, see there the very sign we missed afore!” hissed Bluesy.
“Lift up that dear child Cuddles; bring her to heart’s home in tow.”
“For that Sign we have missed hangs on her coattail to point us to truesy.”
(NOTE: My sincerest apologies to Lauren at http://lscotthoughts.com for failing to save enough time in my hectic schedule yesterday to add this note of cross-reference and deepest gratitude for her poem on Cuddles joining granbee’s critterly journey! This addition has been such a source of inspiration for me that poor ol’ brain is spinning with all sorts of additions to our critterly journey and quest for The Light of The One here. I hope you will all enjoy thisCuddles addition as much as I am! Please thank Lauren and keep up with her other wonderful posts, as well!)
