“……and we received healing as we heard the berry pickers far away!”

“……and we received healing as we heard the berry pickers far away!”

As Cuddles and Jitters patted and tapped on Spottedy chest

And the old goat began to breath easy under such touchy blessings

Ministering friends and healing Goat all heard humming in crest

O’er the near hills twixt healing bed and dark pits of dire stressings.

“What ye hear?  what dat humming?  So far, yet so near!”

Did Spottedy and healers all whispery-whistle as one.

“Shush, shush, dis hummin’ pours wellness into my bier,”

Did Spottedy caution healing friends in smiling tone.

“Ah, ah, now I haves it!” did spark up Jitters as he danced.

“Now I smell the drift of berry juice all drippin’ in the hums!”

“Dose foragin’ friends under Old Crow has founds foods so scanced!”

Thus did small smells and hums bring new hope to these tums.

“……..and you say all dirt is washed away?”

15-Mar-12: Ephesians 1:3-6

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,

4 just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love.

5 He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

“……..and you say all dirt is washed away?”

So did Littley Lamb, Stump Woman, Spottedy Goat, Ol Crookeye did show

A way back to path, one true path, away from trailing leadetty dirt

So did Old Crow, Ugly Bird, Bluesy Dragonfly, and new Butterfly call wind to blow

New shower of dewy light all on Floppy Ears and Bushy Nose, every single Squirt!

“Ho, now!  Hey, bow!  Weesy allsey cleansey now, ‘spite ol’ thievsies so bold!

“Skip now!  Leap, now! March we, sing we, who now so light and bright.”

For that swifting wind down from next high peak did blow and mist away to gold;

Such gift of  might did bring all friends right clean in kin to Babe of Light!

“…….and you say we carry THE ONE inside of us?”

12-Mar-12: 1 Corinthians 3:10-23

10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building on it. Each builder must choose with care how to build on it.

11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that has been laid; that foundation is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—

13 the work of each builder will become visible, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each has done.

14 If what has been built on the foundation survives, the builder will receive a reward.

15 If the work is burned up, the builder will suffer loss; the builder will be saved, but only as through fire.

16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?

17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

“…….and you say we carry THE ONE inside of us?”

“Lessie me rest, lessie me heal,” bleated Spottedy Goat, seeking to be still.

“Sure, an ye should rest oh so fine, with all healing and tending ye have.”

So cawed Old Crow and chirped Ugly Bird and flapped Floppy-Eared in thrill.

So friends huddled as one in tending old Spottedy, snuggled with salve.

Once  more cawed Old Crow,” Ye give thanks for this mending place, ye do.”

“What mean ye, what caw ye, Old Crow?” all turned up to seek.

“Why Spottedy be healed just here, just now? How we give thanks so true?

“Why, know ye not, yon Spottedy body means temple to be for Him so meek.”

“…..and you say our bare feet are perfect for going to that Holy Ground below?”

9-Mar-12: Acts 7:30-40

30 “Now when forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in the flame of a burning bush.

31 When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight; and as he approached to look, there came the voice of the Lord:

32 ‘I am the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look.

33 Then the Lord said to him, ‘Take off the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.

34 I have surely seen the mistreatment of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their groaning, and I have come down to rescue them. Come now, I will send you to Egypt.’

“…..and you say our bare feet are perfect for going to that Holy Ground below?”

“Oopsey, whoopsey, we fallsey downsey, we hurtseys so muchsees”

So screeched  Spotted Goat tumbling down rocky slope to high river bank.

“Waitsee, waitsee, do not give upsee, oh friend in questsees!”

So squaled out Old Stump Woman and Littly Lamb hurting feet in run so lank.

“Oh, if only boots of Shepherd we could wear as we tear down to grab old goat!”

So moaned lambie and stumpie clambering down to reach out old goat from that ditch.

“Oh, if only you would see you are on Holy Ground now in rushing to aide without coat!”

So did Old Crow and Ugly Bird and even Bluesy Fly teach those helpers in loving pitch.
